Looking back in Canada’s history, it wasn't that long ago that the laws that governed our country failed to recognize the rights of the LGBTQ community. Homosexuality was only first considered legal in 1969, and it wasn't until 1992 that it became illegal to discriminate based on sexual orientation. Now a new Edmonton based app explores those historical moments and landmarks.  Chelan Skulski got the tour from University of Alberta’s Dr. Jason Harley, lead developer of the Edmonton queer history app.
