Occasionally, Mandy Stobo swaps the paintbrushes and canvas for an oculus and screen—that is, she leaves behind the two-dimensional world of painting for the three-dimensions of virtual reality. For the medium to be used this way is relatively new, and because of its youth and dependence on technology, it’s constantly evolving. But that’s part of what makes it so exciting for Stobo.
