The Office of Child and Youth Advocate recently published a report detailing what the justice and welfare systems are like for youth who identify as a gender or sexual minority.

The accounts of roughly 300 youth, professionals, caregivers and elders paint a bleak picture of systems which have shamed youth for how they identify.

However, the report is not without solutions. Child and Youth Advocate Del Graff joined us to discuss the impact of the report and his recommendations to the province moving forward.
