Last year was dubbed a ‘rebound’ year for the Alberta economy.
Between the 26,000 jobs added in Alberta in December, and oil reaching $60 once again, does 2018 promise a similar positive outlook?
While the unemployment rate is still hovering around 7 percent, Todd Hirsch, chief economist at ATB Financial sees things gaining traction in the coming year and shares his thoughts on the role pipeline capacity could possibly play.
