It appears many Canadians are not paying attention to food recalls.  A recent survey found more than half of the one thousand respondents greatly underestimated the number of recalls issued in 2017.  And researchers say that lack of awareness could put them at risk of food contamination.  Michael speaks with Sylvain Charlebois, a professor of food distribution and policy at Dalhousie University in Halifax and lead author of the study about the research and the changes he says could help get the word out on important recalls.
