Effective January 1, 2018 Albertan could see an eight point five percent decrease in fees for sixty common dental procedures.
The reccomendations are part of the first dental fee guide to be introduced in Alberta in twenty years and brings the province's prices closer into line with what is charged in other parts of Canada.
Dr. Mintoo Basahti, president of the Alberta Dental Association and College details the changes and why the update was necessary.
