Sixteen-year-old Rae-Anne Gill  of High Prairie recently completed the Canadian River Valley Revenge, one of the most grueling trail racing events in North America.  Hundreds of runners pack Edmonton’s River Valley twice a year to participate in this race. The bi-annual series offers a mix of distances from 5K to 100 miles. The trails feature gnarly routes all within the scenic urban setting of the River Valley. Race organizers say it’s one of the toughest courses found in North America.  Gill completed the course in 31 hours and 59 minutes and race officials claim she’s one of the youngest Canadian trail runners to ever complete a 100-miler on their first attempt
