Edmonton’s Rosalind Mosychuk is a parent, a community leader and an advocate for families.  Her daughter Tanya was born with Down Syndrome, a largely misunderstood condition at that time.  But Rosalind refused to allow the diagnosis to limit her daughter’s life and has spent the years since encouraging and inspiring people to search out every opportunity and new experience, and to find their passions and their place in the world.   One of her initiatives is Dinner Club, bringing together adult women born with Down Syndrome for a monthly dinner, helping them learn to communicate with new people, to be good listeners and to be more confident.
