Covenant Health and other similar belief-based/publicly-funded health care operations often have their employees sign covenant agreements, demanding that doctors and support staff maintain core religious beliefs on the job.

The Rocky Mountain Civil Liberties Association and others are left wondering how a publicly-funded health care facility and its employees have the right to deny services based on values.
