Sarah Richter

Reporter/Producer

Sarah joined the Alberta Primetime team as a Reporter/Producer in September 2014.

She spent most of her life in Regina (she’s a big fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders) and graduated from the University of Regina’s Journalism School in 2009.

Sarah was fortunate to start her career in her hometown at Global Regina, where she reported and filled in everywhere from anchoring sports, writing for the web, and working the technical side.

After four years working in Regina, Sarah and her husband headed eight hours west, where she worked as a news reporter for CTV Edmonton.

After a year of covering daily news, Sarah decided to give in to her love of current affairs and feature storytelling and made the move upstairs at the CTV building to Alberta Primetime. The biggest highlight from her time with Alberta Primetime is an in-depth story she did about David Milgaard, who spent 23 years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit.

Mom to Claire, Sarah’s favourite things include watching her young daughter grow up, traveling and puppies.  Oh, and did she mention her Rider Pride?
