There are people fighting on the front lines of the opioid crisis, where fatal overdoses and illicit drug use are just part of their everyday lives.

Streetworks was launched in 1989 to address the issue of HIV amongst injection drug users and sex trade workers. Over the years, the range of services offered grew based on need. Simply put, Streetworks is a needle exchange and harm program for Edmontonians.
